Heather's Hoop Journey...
It all started the summer of '07, when I saw the Ladies of Hoopnotica perform on "Good Morning America"...and that's where this story begins...I bought the 2 DVD's and a Hoop then took a workshop from the acclaimed Rayna McInturf. Boy, was I hooked!
I hooped & I hooped & I hooped....and did I happen to mention I lost ten pounds in the process (effortless) ? Over the next year I trained and received my Hoopnotica Teacher Certification. So here I am, ready to teach you the wonders of hooping, with all mental and physical benefits it has to offer! Hoopdance is really so much fun and I know you will enjoy it !
I do have a day job! I have a degree in Nursing and work full time.

I wrote that story one year ago...and what a difference a year makes !!! Since that time I've sold hundreds of hoops in the Houma-Terrebonne area. My Southdown Marketplace booth has been a overwhelming success, we have so much fun ...literally hooping all day ! In January '09 we started our Bayou Blue Hoop Group every Thursday nite, a group of wonderful ladies meet and greet and we workout for a couple of hours. The Houma Courier also did a nice piece on our hoop group. So yes we've had a busy year. I am working feverishly getting ready for Southdown on November 7th. Come by, say hello & hoop with us...I'm always at Booth 413. Thank you all for making this such a fun adventure, by the way....I lost another 10 lbs !!!!
